A new sight to see in the Southwest Valley.
Drivers on the 215 and Durango will notice something brighter at Durango Casino & Resort: the tower’s letters and signature agave icon lit up the sky last night as crews officially turned on the lights of the building’s signage. Marking an exciting milestone, the newly backlit agave icon stands 18’ tall by 42’ wide and the letters D-U-R-A-N-G-O span 66’ across the tower and are seven-feet tall. Social media was abuzz in March as crews began installing the Agave on the north facing exterior of the tower and over the course of the subsequent two weeks, the resort’s letters.
