Durango Casino & Resort Celebrates One-Year Anniversary With Special Offerings throughout December

Since its debut on Dec. 5, 2023, Durango Casino & Resort has made a splash in the Las Vegas valley and was an instant success. A year later, the property will welcome its first anniversary with a month-long celebration this December. Guests will be welcomed to enjoy a variety of specialty cocktails across the property and dining specials at Nicco’s Prime Cuts & Fresh Fish. The Team Members on property will enjoy back of house recognition and gifts to make their continued dedication.

Bars across the property, including DRNK, High Limit Slots, High Limit Table Games, STN Sports Bar, Side Bar and Oasis Lounge, will offer guests a smooth anniversary specialty cocktail all month long:

Durango’s signature steakhouse, Nicco’s Prime Cuts & Fresh Fish, will join in the celebration with specialty dishes and cocktail all month long including:

• Stone Crab Claws – available throughout December, market price
• Citrus Fed Filet | $120
• Spicy Sagebrush (Spicy Margarita)| $14
  • Ketel One Botanical Cucumber & Mint, sage, blanc vermouth, Génépy, Chaco jalapeno, lime and egg white

 

The George Sportsmen’s Lounge will welcome guests to celebrate throughout the day on Dec. 5, 2024 with special “birthday-inspired” cocktail offerings and a special Thursday Night Football viewing event. Anniversary highlights include:

• Tito’s Birthday Cake Martini | $12 – offered all day
  • Titos, White Chocolate Liqueur, Amaretto with a nonpareil’s rim and whipped cream.
• Tito’s Birthday Cake Shot |Complimentary – offered from 5 – 7 p.m., while supplies last
• Thursday Night Football Entertainment
  • Live DJ entertainment by bxONE from 4:30 p.m. – end of the game

Team Member Offerings

To honor the incredible Team members who work tirelessly to make Durango what it is today, the resort ]will celebrate with special menus in the team member dining room, photo moments throughout the back of house areas, anniversary cake for all Team Members and commemorative gifts including a custom crewneck sweatshirt.

Heading into year two, Durango announced the next phase for the property which will include an expansion of over 25,000 square feet of additional casino space that will welcome a new high limit slot and bar area and 230 new slot machines, as well as an additional covered parking garage that will bring almost 2,000 more convenient parking spots, further enhancing the guest experience. As the property is currently in the planning and budgeting stages for this expansion, the anticipated project budget is approximately $116m.
