Station Casinos Surprises Three Square Food Bank with $100,000 Donation to Conclude 4 Corners Food Drive

Durango Casino hosted check presentation in partnership with Mix 94.1 FM to close out Hunger Action Month

Las Vegas, NV (Sept. 26, 2025) – Station Casinos brought the annual 4 Corners Food Drive to a memorable close this morning with a surprise $100,000 donation to Three Square Food Bank. The culminating event took place at Durango Casino & Resort’s Eat Your Heart Out Food Hall, where Mix 94.1 FM wrapped its week-long broadcast encouraging community donations to fight hunger in Southern Nevada.

As part of the campaign, Station Casinos properties pledged $10,000 each day of the week to support the cause, beginning with Santa Fe Station on Monday, Palace Station on Tuesday, Green Valley Ranch, Sunset Station, and Boulder Station on Wednesday, Red Rock Casino on Thursday, and culminating with Durango Casino on Friday. These contributions added up to $70,000.

In a surprise twist during the live check presentation, David Horn, Vice President and General Manager of Durango, received a last-minute call from his leadership team. With an enthusiastic green light to increase the donation, he announced that Station Casinos would add an additional $30,000, bringing the total to an even $100,000. The announcement was met with cheers from Mix 94.1 hosts Mercedes Martinez and Julian Nieh, Irma McDow, Philanthropy Officer at Three Square Food Bank Three Square Food Bank, and attendees of the event.

Throughout the week-long drive, Mix 94.1 rallied listeners to bring donations, emphasizing that every $1 given to Three Square provides up to three wholesome meals for Southern Nevadans in need. Today’s surprise $100,000 gift further amplified those efforts and highlighted Station Casinos’ longstanding commitment to nourishing and uplifting the Las Vegas community.
