Sunset Station reopened the iconic Gaudi Bar and gaming pit in the heart of the casino floor today with a celebratory ribbon-cutting ceremony marking the latest milestone in the Henderson property’s ongoing transformation.
The reopening comes as Sunset Station continues to elevate its offerings and roll out updates across the property, including a refreshed brand identity, updated casino spaces, new dining and entertainment concepts and additional enhancements throughout the year.
“Gaudi Bar has always been one of the signature spaces at Sunset Station, and we’re excited to welcome guests back to an elevated version that still honors the character people know and love,” said Lee Torres, Vice President and General Manager of Sunset Station.
“Its reopening, along with the return of table games to the center of the casino floor, is an important part of the continued updates taking place across the property. With so much more to come, Sunset Station will continue to set a new bar for locals in Henderson.”
Gaudi Pit Reopening
The updated Gaudi pit opened Thursday, May 14, bringing table games back to the center of the casino floor following the renovation underneath a beautiful canopy of the original stained glass that was inspired by the work of Gaudi. Together, the Gaudi Bar and pit continue Sunset Station’s effort to modernize the guest experience while maintaining the character and familiarity longtime guests know and love.
The table games experience includes local friendly minimums and 3:2 blackjack and an all-new $5 minimum bet Electronic Craps table played on a traditional felt, and additional craps and baccarat tables to satisfy demand. Other favorites on the floor include Pai Gow Poker, Ultimate Texas Hold’em, Three Card Poker, Single Deck Blackjack, Free Bet Blackjack and Double Down Madness.
Brand Refresh
Sunset Station introduces a completely refreshed brand to complement the property’s ongoing upgrades. It represents a modern evolution of a beloved Henderson original, blending its rich legacy with a renewed focus on quality, cohesion and guest experience through a fully integrated design system that unifies every touchpoint from signage and environmental graphics to digital, social and on-property interactions.
Anchored by a slightly retouched logo and refreshed sun icon that balance heritage with contemporary clarity, the identity is brought to life through a bold and inviting color palette featuring Sunset Orange, Black, White Sand, and elevated accents of Gold and Bronze that reflect the warmth and energy of the property.
A confident typography system enhances both storytelling and wayfinding, while custom patterns inspired by architectural details and a structured layout approach emphasizing simplicity and intentional space create a cohesive visual language. Together, these elements deliver a seamless and immersive experience that mirrors real life at Sunset Station, feeling both familiar and refreshed, vibrant and welcoming, and reinforcing its position as a modern classic and the local favorite reimagined. New brand details will roll out in the coming weeks.
