Yesterday, Station Casinos brought the annual 4 Corners Food Drive to a memorable close with a $100,000 donation to Three Square Food Bank. The culminating event took place at Audacy Las Vegas studios with Mercedes in the Morning, following a month-long campaign led by Mix 94.1 encouraging food and monetary donations to help fight hunger across Southern Nevada.
As part of the campaign, Station Casinos properties donated $100,000 to the organization to conclude Hunger Action Month.
During the check presentation, Dave Horn, Vice President and General Manager of Durango Casino & Resort, joined Irma Mcdow, Philanthropy Officer at Three Square, Mercedes Martinez of Mix 94.1 to present Three Square Food Bank with a $100,000 donation. The contribution supports Three Square’s ongoing mission to provide wholesome food to hungry people while pursuing a hunger-free community across Southern Nevada. The 4 Corners Food Drive collectively raised $236,739 totaling 473,478 meals that will be provided in the community.
Throughout the drive, Mix 94.1 and its sister stations rallied listeners to support Three Square through on-air promotion, social media, interviews and opportunities to donate both in person and online. Station Casinos’ contribution further amplified those efforts and highlighted the company’s longstanding commitment to supporting and uplifting the Southern Nevada community.
